Olathe Aggregate Company was the vision of company President Tom Frye. He also had a vision that would help in the reclamation of the site once mining was complete. Our "Construction & Demolition Landfill" meets a need in the construction industry and helps us reclaim the ground for future use.

A fully dedicated entrance is quick and safe for our landfill customers.

Our landfill permit was issued from Kansas Department of Health & Environment (KDHE) and Johnson County Environmental Department (JCED) in the last quarter of 1998. The landfill plan divided the property into three phases with a final reclamation topography.
As directed by KDHE's list of acceptable material our landfill can accept lumber or any untreated wood product, drywall, solid waste resulting from the construction, remodeling, repair and demolition of structures, roads, sidewalks, utilities and storm related clean-up.

There are many items which cannot be placed in our C & D landfill. As called for in our Mission Statement we are ever mindful of our impact on the environment.

Our landfill is inspected regularly by JCED and KDHE for compliance with the rules and regulation that govern our landfill. The City of Olathe issued the special use permit for the landfill and receives copies of any official communication.
